Nashville Film Institute Invests in Hands-On Filmmaking Education with Sony’s Alpha 6700 Cameras

Students at the Nashville Film Institute (NFI) now have a new addition to their essential filmmaking toolkit: Sony’s Alpha 6700 (ILCE-6700) interchangeable lens camera system. Each student currently receives an Alpha 6700 paired with a 16–50mm lens as part of their tuition package, a direct investment in both their education and their professional future.

For NFI, this collaboration with Sony represents more than an equipment upgrade. It reinforces the school’s commitment to immersive, career-focused filmmaking education rooted in real-world production standards.
